The Winning Seed is your opportunity to realize your dream project with the help of a micro-grant and mentorship! The contest was born out of a desire to support youth in their HIV advocacy initiatives and to give them the support needed to realize their vision.

How does it work?

Identify an issue

Identify an issue related to HIV & one or more of the following themes:

1) Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3)

2) Quality Education(SDG 4)

3) Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10)

Propose your solution

We want to hear from you no matter how small or big your project is.

Pitch your idea

Three finalists will be invited to pitch their project to the jury during Youth-HIV week (2024).

Realize your project

The first place winner will receive a micro-grant ($1000), prize money ($500), and mentorship to help realize the project.

Who Can Apply?

14-29 years old

At least 50% of your group must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Refugee

An individual or a group (we recommend that team size does not exceed 5 people)
